Our CSconnected partner, Rockley Photonics, unveils end-to-end digital health monitoring solution

15th July 2021

CSconnected welcomes the news from our South Wales compound semiconductor community partner, Rockley Photonics, that unveils today a comprehensive “clinic-on-the-wrist” integration combining hardware, application firmware, and cloud analytics.

Rockley’s sensor module and associated reference designs for consumer products integrate hardware and application firmware to enable wearable devices to monitor multiple biomarkers, including core body temperature, blood pressure, body hydration, alcohol, lactate, and glucose trends, among others.

Rockley is initially targeting the consumer electronics market, in which significant advances in digital personal health and fitness monitoring have occurred in recent years. Rockley is also actively pursuing the application of its technologies with leading medical device companies as biomarker monitoring can advance digital health applications and improve disease prevention, detection, and management.
