CSconnected Quarterly Review Meeting (QRM19)

14th August 2025

On 14 August 2025, CSconnected welcomed partners and stakeholders to the Quarterly Review Meeting (QRM19) at the CSconnected Community Space (CS²) in Newport.

These regular meetings provide updates on the Strength in Places Fund (SIPF) programme. At QRM19, we were joined by our monitoring officer, UKRI/SIPF team members, Wyn Meredith (Chair, CSconnected) and Malini Vieyra (Programme Manager, SIPF).

As part of the day, attendees toured the new 237,000 sq. ft state-of-the-art R&D and semiconductor equipment manufacturing facility in Newport. Supported by Cardiff Capital Region (CCR), this facility has capacity for up to 750 employees and represents a major boost to the local economy through advanced manufacturing and innovation.
