CSconnected is pleased to be exhibiting at the Semiconductor Integrated Opto‑Electronics (SIOE) conference, taking place at Cardiff University from 31 March to 2 April 2026.

SIOE is known for its friendly and informal environment, bringing together researchers, industry professionals and students to explore the latest developments in semiconductor opto‑electronics. The programme covers a wide range of topics including:

• Advanced materials, device growth and fabrication
• Solar cells and photovoltaics
• Mid‑infrared technologies
• Photonic band‑gap and micro‑cavity effects
• GaN materials and devices
• Device modelling and simulation
• Optical detectors, modulators, amplifiers and switches

The conference also features oral and poster presentations, along with a conference banquet on 1 April at the historic Cornerstone building in Cardiff.
