Winslow Adaptics is a UK engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of solutions that extend the operational life of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.

Established in 1977, Winslow has extensive experience solving component availability, obsolescence and legacy design challenges across aerospace, defence, rail, medical, industrial and other high-reliability sectors.

Its engineering capabilities span electronic and mechanical design, PCB design and manufacture, reverse engineering, component substitution, interposers and adapters, ASIC-to-FPGA migration, test and diagnostic hardware, specialist sockets and modules, and the re-engineering of obsolete connectors and mechanical components.

Where an original semiconductor or component is no longer available, Winslow develops engineered alternatives that enable customers to retain existing equipment, interfaces and system architectures. Solutions can range from relatively straightforward footprint adaptation through to complex FPGA-based replacements and complete redesigns of legacy electronic assemblies.

Through Obsolescence Surgery®, Winslow also provides a structured engineering approach to technically challenging obsolescence problems, helping organisations assess feasibility and move from an identified issue to a practical, manufacturable solution.

Design, engineering and manufacturing support is delivered from the UK, with particular emphasis on high-reliability and long-life applications where continuity of supply, configuration control and product lifecycle are critical.
